Defect

At the joint between the rear stabilizer bracket and the body, the mounting bolts may loosen during normal use, causing play at the attachment point and producing abnormal noise. Continued use may allow the bolts to fall out entirely. In the worst case, the bracket may contact and damage surrounding components.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, inspect the condition of the mounting bolts and tighten them to the specified torque. If any bolt has fallen out, install a new bolt.
