| Component | Fuel Pump |
| Production period | August 2020 — October 14, 2022 |
| Vehicles affected | 1,975 units |
Defect
The fuel pump incorporates a degassing port positioned incorrectly for venting fuel vapor. During operation at high altitude or in low-atmospheric-pressure environments, or in slow-moving traffic under high ambient temperatures, fuel vapor cannot escape and accumulates in large quantities inside the pump. This prevents proper fuel delivery and may cause the engine to stall.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fuel pump unit with a corrected/revised part.
