Defect
Due to inadequate manufacturing controls, some evaporative emission control system canisters were assembled without the breather hose connecting the canister to the fuel tank. As a result, fuel vapor may vent directly to the atmosphere, failing to conform to Safety Standards Article 31 (Harmful Gas Emission Prevention Equipment).
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the breather hose connection. If the hose is not connected, assemble it to the correct position.

状況
燃料蒸発ガス発散抑止装置（キャニスタ）において、製造管理が不適切なため、燃料タンクとの間のブリーザホースが接続されていないものがある。そのため、燃料蒸発ガスが大気中に漏れ、保安基準第３１条（有害なガスの発散防止装置）の基準に適合しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ブリーザホースを点検し、接続されていない場合は正規の状態に組付ける。
