Defect
On large touring buses, insufficient durability of the heater hose may cause premature hose failure. This allows coolant to leak, and if the vehicle continues to be driven, the engine may overheat.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the heater hose connected to the pressure-reducing valve and the upstream pipe with corrected parts.
