Defect
On van-type vehicles, improper weld quality control during manufacturing has left the wheel chock storage stay welds with insufficient strength. Road vibration and similar operating loads can cause the weld joints on the storage stay to fracture. In the worst case, portions of the storage stay and the wheel chock may detach and fall from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the wheel chock storage assembly with the corrected part.

状況
バン型車両の輪止め格納部において、製造時の溶接管理が不適切なため、格納ステー溶接部の強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、走行振動等により格納ステーの溶接部が破断し、最悪の場合、格納ステーの部品の一部及び輪止めが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、輪止め格納部を対策品に交換する。
