Defect
On battery-powered forklifts, the outer accelerator pedal return spring received inadequate surface treatment during manufacturing, allowing rust to develop in service. Continued use may cause the spring to fracture. In the worst case, the accelerator pedal may fail to return to the idle position.
Corrective action
Replace the outer spring with a corrected part on all vehicles. Additionally, inspect the inner spring on all vehicles and replace it with a new part if fracture is found.

状況
バッテリ式フォークリフトのアクセルペダルスプリングにおいて、外部スプリングの表面加工処理が不適切なため、使用過程において錆が生じるものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該スプリングが折損し、最悪の場合、アクセルペダルが戻らなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、外部スプリングを対策品に交換する。 なお、全車両、内部スプリングを点検し、折損しているものは、新品に交換する。
