Defect
On agricultural tractors, manufacturing variation in the bend angle of the accelerator pedal wire hook end may cause the hook end to enter the hole in the pedal link when the accelerator pedal is depressed while the hand throttle lever is in use, pulling the accelerator wire taut. When this occurs, releasing both the accelerator pedal and the hand throttle lever fails to return engine speed to idle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, install a heat-shrink tube over the foot accelerator wire hook end to prevent it from entering the pedal link hole.

状況
農耕トラクタのアクセルペダルワイヤーのフックエンドにおいて、フックエンドの曲げ角度の製造バラツキにより、ハンドアクセルレバー使用時にアクセルペダルを踏み込むと、アクセルペダルのワイヤーフックエンドがペダルリンクの穴に入り込むことでアクセルワイヤが引っ張られた状態となるおそれがある。そのため、不具合発生時は、アクセルペダル及びハンドアクセルレバーを戻してもエンジン回転数がアイドリング回転数まで下がらない。
改善措置
全車両、アクセルペダルリンクの穴にフックエンドが入り込まないよう、フットアクセルワイヤのフックエンドに熱収縮チューブを装着する。
