Defect
During the manufacturing process, some accelerator pedals have insufficient welds joining the accelerator pedal rod to the bracket. Continued use may cause the weld to separate and the accelerator pedal to detach, leaving the vehicle unable to be driven.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the accelerator pedal manufacturing lot number is inspected. On affected units, the accelerator pedal assembly is replaced with a conforming unit.

状況
アクセルペダルの製造工程において、アクセルペダルロッドとブラケットとの溶接が不十分なものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると溶接が剥がれてアクセルペダルが外れ、走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該アクセルペダルの製造ロット番号を点検し、対象のものはアクセルペダル一式を良品と交換する。
