Defect
During the manufacturing process, some accelerator pedals have insufficient welds joining the accelerator pedal rod to the bracket. Continued use may cause the weld to separate and the accelerator pedal to detach, leaving the vehicle unable to be driven.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the accelerator pedal manufacturing lot number is inspected. On affected units, the accelerator pedal assembly is replaced with a conforming unit.

改善措置
