Defect
In the rear center seat belt, improper adjustment of the assembly equipment caused the spring in the belt lock mechanism to be installed in a bent condition. The bent spring may interfere with surrounding components, preventing the seat belt from locking when pulled out rapidly.
Corrective action
Replace the rear center seat belt on all vehicles with a conforming part.
