Defect
The engine control computer contains an improperly calibrated fuel injection control program. When a large volume of fuel vapor enters the combustion chamber, the program cannot correctly control injector fuel delivery, resulting in insufficient fuel for combustion. In the worst case, the engine may stall at low vehicle speeds.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the engine control computer fuel injection control program to the corrected/updated software.

状況
エンジン制御コンピュータにおいて、燃料噴射制御プログラムが不適切なため、燃焼室に大量の燃料蒸発ガスが流れ込んだ際に、インジェクタによる燃料噴射量を正しく制御できないことがある。そのため、燃焼に必要な燃料噴射量が不足し、最悪の場合、低車速時にエンストするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エンジン制御コンピュータの燃料噴射制御プログラムを対策プログラムに修正する。
