Defect
In the engine control unit, an incorrect fuel injection control program may prevent the unit from accurately controlling injector fuel delivery when a large volume of fuel vapor flows into the combustion chamber. This results in insufficient fuel injection for combustion and, in the worst case, may cause the engine to stall at low vehicle speeds.
Corrective action
Reprogram the engine control unit fuel injection control program to the corrected software on all vehicles.

状況
①エンジン制御コンピュータにおいて、燃料噴射制御プログラムが不適切なため、燃焼室に大量の燃料蒸発ガスが流れ込んだ際に、インジェクタによる燃料噴射量を正しく制御できないことがある。そのため、燃焼に必要な燃料噴射量が不足し、最悪の場合、低車速時にエンストするおそれがある。
改善措置
①全車両、エンジン制御コンピュータの燃料噴射制御プログラムを対策プログラムに修正する。
