Defect
On refrigerator/freezer trucks, inadequate manufacturing controls have left certain spare tire hoist mounting brackets with unwelded joints. Vibration during vehicle operation may cause cracks to develop at these unwelded locations. In the worst case, the bracket may fracture, allowing the bracket and spare tire to fall from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the spare tire hoist mounting bracket. If any unwelded joint is found, replace the bracket with a conforming part.

状況
冷蔵冷凍車のスペアタイヤ巻き上げ装置取付けブラケットにおいて、製造管理が不適切なため、溶接されていない箇所がある。そのため、走行時の振動等により当該ブラケットに亀裂が生じ、最悪の場合、当該ブラケットが破断して当該ブラケット及びスペアタイヤが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ブラケットを点検し、溶接されていない箇所がある場合は、当該ブラケットを良品に交換する。
