Defect
On vehicles equipped with a 130-ampere alternator, improper routing and securing of the alternator power wiring on the rear side of the alternator allows vibration to cause the wiring to chafe against the edge of the mounting bracket, damaging the insulation. If the vehicle continues to be operated in this condition, the wiring may short circuit, generating heat and smoke.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, install protective material on the power wiring and replace the mounting bracket and clamp with corrected parts. If the power wiring is found to be damaged, repair or replace it with a new part.

状況
１３０アンペア仕様のオルタネータ電源配線において、オルタネータ裏側の配索及び固定方法が不適切なため、振動により当該配線が固定ブラケットのエッジ部と干渉して被覆を損傷させることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該配線が短絡し発熱・発煙するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、電源配線に保護材を取付けて、固定ブラケット及びクランプを対策品に交換する。なお、電源配線に損傷がある場合は補修又は新品に交換する。
