Defect
The rear underrun protection device has insufficient strength at the cross member end mounting points. Vibration during vehicle operation may cause cracks to develop at these mounting points. If use continues in this condition, the cracks will propagate and cause loosening and abnormal noise in the stay side bumper section.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, add reinforcement material to the cross member end mounting points. Where cracks are already present, repair the affected mounting points by welding.

状況
後部突入防止装置において、クロスメンバーエンド取付部の強度が不足しているため、走行振動等により当該取付部に亀裂が生じることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると亀裂が進行し、ステーサイドバンパー部にガタや異音が生じるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、クロスメンバーエンド取付部に補強材を追加する。また、当該取付部に亀裂が生じているものは、溶接にて補修する。
