Defect
In the brake calipers of the front and rear axles, the auto-adjustment drive pin is improperly press-fitted into the caliper. Repeated brake applications may cause the drive pin to fracture. When the pin fractures, the gap between the brake pad and brake disc is no longer automatically adjusted as the pads wear. As a result, the performance of both the service brake and parking brake may deteriorate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the caliper housing serial number and, if applicable, replace the caliper housing with a non-defective unit.

状況
前後輪のブレーキキャリパーにおいて、キャリパー内の自動調整用駆動ピンの圧入方法が不適切なため、ブレーキ操作の繰り返しにより駆動ピンが折損するものがある。そのため、ブレーキパッドの摩耗が進行しても、ブレーキパッドとブレーキディスクとの隙間が自動調整されず、走行ブレーキ及び駐車ブレーキの性能が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、キャリパーハウジング部のシリアル番号を確認し、該当する場合はキャリパーハウジングを良品に交換する。
