Defect
On large buses equipped with the optional front door glass heater, an incorrectly rated fuse was selected for the heater circuit. Heat buildup at the fuse terminal connections causes the fuse holder to melt. Continued use exposes the fuse terminal connections, which may then short circuit. In the worst case, a vehicle fire may result.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the front door glass heater fuse assembly with corrected/revised parts.

状況
大型バスにおいて、オプション設定されているフロントドアガラスヒーター回路に使用しているヒューズの選定が不適切なため、当該ヒューズの結線部の温度上昇によりヒューズホルダーが溶損することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ヒューズの結線部が露出して短絡が生じ、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、フロントドアガラスヒーターのヒューズ一式を対策品に交換する。
