Defect
During the tire-and-wheel assembly process for run-flat tires, improper assembly procedures caused cracks to form in the reinforcement layer on the inner sidewall surface. Continued use produces abnormal noise and vibration. In the worst case, part of the tread may detach, compromising vehicle driving stability.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the run-flat tires with new units.

状況
ランフラットタイヤにおいて、タイヤとホイールの組付工程が不適切なため、タイヤのサイドウォール内面補強層に亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、異音や振動が発生し、最悪の場合、トレッドの一部が剥がれ、走行安定性を損なうおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ランフラットタイヤを新品と交換する。
