Defect
The engine control computer contains an incorrect control program that prevents accurate calculation of intake air volume during engine restart immediately following an idling stop event. This causes unstable engine operation and, in the worst case, may result in an engine stall.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the engine control computer with the corrected software.

状況
エンジン制御用コンピュータにおいて、制御プログラムが不適切なため、アイドリングストップ直後の再始動時にエンジンの吸入空気量を正確に算出できないことがある。そのため、エンジン回転が不安定となり、最悪の場合、エンストするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エンジン制御用コンピュータのプログラムを対策仕様に修正する。
