Defect
Inadequate assembly process controls for the front differential allowed differentials with incorrect gear reduction ratios to be installed on some vehicles. During four-wheel-drive operation, a rotational speed difference develops between the front and rear axles, degrading driving performance. In the worst case, drivetrain components may be damaged, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the front differential with the correct production part.

状況
フロントデファレンシャルの組み付け作業管理が不適切なため、減速比の異なるフロントデファレンシャルを組み付けたものがある。そのため、四輪駆動走行時に前輪と後輪に回転差が生じて走行性能が低下し、最悪の場合、駆動系部品が損傷し、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、フロントデファレンシャルを正規品に交換する。
