Defect
The connector layout of the selector assembly in the automated manual transmission (AGS) is improper, allowing condensation droplets to drip onto the connector and cause a short circuit between terminals. This triggers a warning lamp and may render the transmission unable to shift, leaving the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the selector assembly connector. (1) If water intrusion marks are found: (i) replace the selector assembly and instrument panel harness with corrected parts. (ii) If no water intrusion marks are found: add a waterproof cover to the selector assembly connector and apply waterproofing measures to the instrument panel harness. (2) If a waterproof cover is not installed on the harness connector, add a waterproof cover to the harness connector.

状況
機械式自動変速機（ＡＧＳ）のセレクタアッシのコネクタの配置が不適切なため、結露した水滴が当該コネクタに滴下し、端子間が短絡することがある。そのため、警告灯が点灯するとともに、変速不能及び走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、セレクタアッシのコネクタを点検し、 （１）①被水痕が認められる場合は、セレクタアッシとインパネハーネスを対策品に交換する。 ②被水痕が認められない場合は、セレクタアッシのコネクタに防水カバーを追加し、インパネハーネスに防水対策を実施する。 （２）メインハーネスのコネクタに、防水カバーが装着されていない場合は、メインハーネスのコネクタに防水カバーを追加する。
