Defect
On medium-duty trucks, incorrect assembly instructions for the DEF (urea solution) tank mounting bracket result in one of the four fastening bolts not being installed. Continued operation in this condition allows the remaining fastening bolts to loosen and, in the worst case, the DEF tank may detach from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, install and torque the missing DEF tank mounting bracket fastening bolt, and replace all other fastening bolts and nuts on the bracket with new parts.

状況
中型トラックの尿素水タンク取付け金具において、取付け作業の指示が不適切なため、4本の締結ボルトのうち1本が装着されていない。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該金具の締結ボルトが緩み、最悪の場合、尿素水タンクが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、尿素水タンク取付け金具の締結ボルト1本を追加締め付けするとともに、他の当該金具の締結ボルト・ナットを新品に交換する。
