Defect
On large trucks, inadequate dimensional control of the battery box mounting bracket during the manufacturing process results in the fastening bolts not being properly torqued. Continued operation in this condition allows the fastening bolts to loosen and, in the worst case, the battery box may detach from the vehicle.
Corrective action
Replace the battery box mounting bracket with a conforming replacement part. Replace all bolts and nuts securing the bracket to the frame with new parts.

状況
大型トラックにおいて、バッテリーボックス取付け金具の製造過程で当該金具の寸法管理が不適切なため、締結ボルトが適正に締められていない。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該金具の締結ボルトが緩み、最悪の場合、バッテリーボックスが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
良品のバッテリーボックス取付け金具に交換する。また、当該金具を車枠に締結しているボルト・ナットを全て新品に交換する。
