Defect
The circuit design of the PTO-linked hazard lamp flash control unit on refuse trucks is improper. When the hazard lamps are flashing due to PTO operation and the headlamps or turn signals are operated simultaneously, the side illumination lamps may flash. This condition may cause the vehicle to fail to conform to Article 33-2 of the Road Vehicles Safety Standards.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the PTO-linked hazard lamp flash control unit with the corrected part.

状況
塵芥車のＰＴＯ連動非常点滅表示灯点滅制御ユニットの回路設計が不適切なため、ＰＴＯ作動により非常点滅表示灯が点滅している際に、前照灯及び方向指示器を操作した場合、側方照射灯が点滅することがある。そのため、道路運送車両の保安基準第３３条の２に適合しないおそれがある。
改善措置
