Defect
In the hybrid system voltage converter (inverter), improper handling of a manufacturing process anomaly has resulted in certain units where the capacitor is not bolted to the converter body and is supported only by its terminals. Driving vibration may cause the terminals to fracture, illuminating a warning light. In the worst case, the vehicle may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the voltage converter with a serviceable unit.
