Issue
The pre-crash brake assist control program in the collision avoidance support system (Pre-Crash Safety System) is incorrect. When the system detects a vehicle ahead with collision potential, the warning alert and warning display activate normally; however, if the driver applies light brake pedal pressure, activation of the brake assist may be delayed.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the pre-crash brake assist control program to the corrected specification.
