Defect
On refuse collection vehicles, the battery wiring for the auxiliary work engine is routed incorrectly and may contact the battery mounting bolts. Vibration during vehicle operation can damage the wiring and cause a short circuit, making the auxiliary engine unable to start. In the worst case, the wiring may burn and cause a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, install corrected parts and reroute the battery wiring.

状況
清掃車の電気配線において、作業用エンジンのバッテリ配線の配索が不適切なため、バッテリ固定用ボルトと接触することがある。そのため、走行時の振動によって配線が損傷して短絡し、作業用エンジンが始動不能となり、最悪の場合、配線が焼損して火災となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、対策品を取付け、バッテリ配線の配索を変更する。
