Defect
On large and medium route buses, the wiring routed inside the distribution box below the driver's seat is improperly routed, causing the wiring to become pinched when the side panel is installed. Continued use can damage the wire insulation, resulting in a short circuit. In the worst case, the doors may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, a wiring protection sheet is added to the wiring near the side panel mounting area of the distribution box below the driver's seat. The wiring in that area is then inspected, and any damaged wiring is repaired.

状況
大型・中型路線バスにおいて、 ③運転者席下側配電箱内の配線の配索が不適切なため、側面パネル取付け時に配線を挟み込んだものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、配線の被覆が損傷して短絡し、最悪の場合、扉の開閉ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
③全車両、運転者席下側配電箱の側面パネル取付け部付近の配線に配線保護シートを追加するとともに、当該部の配線を点検し、損傷している場合は補修する。
