Defect
In the front passenger airbag inflator, improper welding of the high-pressure gas seal valve may reduce the valve's opening pressure below its specified value. This may allow high-pressure gas to be released unintentionally, causing the airbag to deploy without a crash event.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the passenger airbag assembly with a conforming unit.

状況
助手席用エアバッグインフレータ（膨張装置）において、高圧ガス封止弁の溶接が不適切なため、当該弁の開弁圧力が低下しているものがある。そのため、意図せず高圧ガスが開放されて、エアバッグが展開するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、助手席用エアバッグアッセンブリを良品と交換する。
