Defect
The passenger-side dual-stage airbag inflator on certain vehicles may have a condition, the root cause of which has not yet been determined, in which the inflator canister ruptures during airbag deployment. As a preventive measure, the inflator will be replaced on all vehicles.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the inflator with a new part. If replacement parts are unavailable, the passenger airbag function will be disabled and a warning indicating that the passenger airbag is inoperative will be displayed on the passenger-side sun visor.

状況
助手席用二段展開制御式エアバッグのインフレータ（膨張装置）において、原因は判明していないが、エアバッグ展開時にインフレータ容器が破損するおそれがあることから、全車両、予防的措置として、当該インフレータを交換する。
改善措置
全車両、当該インフレータを新品と交換する。なお、交換用部品が不足した場合には、助手席エアバッグの機能を停止するとともに、助手席サンバイザ部に当該エアバッグが作動しない旨の警告を表示する。
