Defect

On harvester-thresher vehicles, defective fan pulleys with insufficient strength at the bolt mounting seat surface entered the manufacturing process. The pulley may fracture, disabling the cooling fan. Continued operation with reduced cooling performance may cause the engine to overheat.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, measure the plate thickness at the fan pulley bolt mounting seat. If the thickness is below specification, replace the pulley with a genuine part.

状況

刈取脱穀作業車のエンジン冷却装置のファンプーリーにおいて、ボルト取付座面の強度が低い不良品が製造行程に混入したため、当該プーリーが破損して冷却ファンが動かなくなる場合がある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用をつづけると冷却性能が低下しているためオーバーヒート状態になるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、ファンプーリーのボルト取付座面の板厚を測定し、板厚が不足している場合は、当該プーリーを正規品に交換する。
