Defect
On turbocharged vehicles, the routing position and corrosion protection treatment of the coolant feed pipe supplying coolant to the turbocharger are inadequate. Driving in areas where road salt or de-icing agents are used exposes the pipe to salt water, causing corrosion. As corrosion progresses, a hole may form in the pipe, resulting in a coolant leak.
Corrective action
Replace the coolant feed pipe with the corrected part.

状況
ターボチャージャ付車両において、ターボチャージャへ冷却水を供給する冷却水フィードパイプの配管位置及び防錆処置が不適切なため、融雪剤散布地域での走行等により塩水がかかり当該パイプが腐食することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、腐食が進行して穴があき、冷却水が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
冷却水フィードパイプを対策品と交換する。
