Defect
In the automated clutch system of the mechanical automatic transmission, the routing of the brush lead wire inside the motor is improper, causing the lead wire to catch on the guide in some units. This results in poor brush sliding operation and a continuity fault. In the worst case, the motor may fail to operate, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles (covering both conditions ① and ②), replace the actuator motor with a corrected part.
