Defect
The body structure at the hood anchor point has insufficient strength. If the primary hood latch is released and the vehicle is driven at high speed, wind pressure may deform the secondary latch mounting area. This can cause the secondary latch to disengage, allowing the hood to open while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, a reinforcement plate is installed at the affected area. To prevent interference between components caused by the reinforcement plate, the secondary latch assembly is also replaced with a dimensionally adjusted part.

状況
ボンネット固定部の車体強度が不足しているため、ボンネット主ロックが解除された状態で高速走行すると、風圧等により副ロック装置取付部が変形することがある。そのため、副ロックの噛み合いが外れて走行中にボンネットが開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該部位に補強板を取り付ける。なお、補強板の取り付けによる部品同士の干渉を防止するため、副ロック装置を寸法調整品と交換する。
