Defect
The molding fitted to the quarter window glass at the rear of the rear door is manufactured under incorrect molding conditions, resulting in insufficient adhesion to the glass. Wind pressure during driving causes the bond to peel, producing abnormal noise. Continued use may, in the worst case, cause the molding to detach from the vehicle.
Corrective action
Replace the quarter window glass assembly on all vehicles with a unit fitted with a conforming molding.

状況
後席ドア後部に取付けているクォータウィンドウガラスのモールディングにおいて、成形条件が不適切なため、ガラスとの密着性が不十分なものがある。そのため、走行時の風圧等により接着が剥がれて異音が発生し、そのまま使用を続けると、最悪の場合、モールディングが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、クォータウィンドウガラスを良品のモールディングを取付けたものに交換する。
