Defect
The vehicle stability control system controller uses a control program that is improperly configured. While the stability control system is active, electrical interference from the drive motor used for brake control causes the controller to misinterpret the output of its internal yaw rate sensor as an abnormal value. As a result, the system incorrectly deactivates brake control during a stability intervention, compromising vehicle stability. In addition, the pre-collision automatic brake system may deactivate during operation.
Corrective action
Reprogram the vehicle stability control system controller with the corrected/updated software on all vehicles.

状況
横滑り防止装置のコントローラの制御プログラムが不適切なため、横滑り防止装置作動中、ブレーキ制御に使用する駆動モータの影響で、コントローラに内蔵されているヨーレートセンサの出力信号を異常値と誤判断することがある。そのため、横滑り防止装置作動中にも関わらずブレーキ制御を停止して、走行安定性が損なわれるおそれがある。また、衝突被害軽減ブレーキが作動中に停止するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、横滑り防止装置の制御プログラムを対策プログラムに書き換える。
