Defect
The engine control computer on turbocharged engines contains an improperly designed program for detecting engine start status. If the CVT selector is operated quickly immediately after engine start, throttle opening correction control may continue to apply. This causes throttle opening to exceed normal levels and, in the worst case, the vehicle may accelerate beyond the driver's intent.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the engine control computer with the corrected software.

状況
過給器付エンジンの制御コンピュータにおいて、エンジン始動状態の判定プログラムが不適切なため、エンジン始動直後に素早くＣＶＴのセレクト操作を行うと、スロットル開度補正制御が継続されることがある。そのため、通常よりもスロットル開度が大きくなり、最悪の場合、意図するよりも加速するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該エンジン制御コンピュータのプログラムを対策プログラムに書き換える。
