Defect
In the swing-lock mechanism that keeps the vehicle body upright when the parking brake is engaged, improper machining of the support bracket causes insufficient tooth engagement between the swing-lock pawl and the swing-lock plate. Repeated operation of releasing the parking brake while load is applied to the swing-lock plate teeth accelerates wear on those teeth. Continued use in this condition may, in the worst case, allow the vehicle body to lean even when the parking brake is engaged.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the swing-lock mechanism support bracket with a conforming part and replace both the swing-lock plate and swing-lock pawl with new parts.

状況
駐車ブレーキ作動時に車体の直立を保持するスイングロック機構において、サポートブラケットの加工が不適切なため、スイングロックポールとスイングロックプレートの爪部の噛み合いが浅くなるものがある。そのため、スイングロックプレートの爪部に力が掛かる状態で駐車ブレーキを解除する操作等を繰り返すと、スイングロックプレートの爪部が早期に摩耗し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、駐車ブレーキを作動させても車体が傾くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、スイングロック機構のサポートブラケットを良品に交換するとともに、スイングロックプレートとスイングロックポールを新品に交換する。
