Defect
On driving school vehicles, the auxiliary brake pedal at the instructor's seat uses a snap pin to retain the clevis pin, but the snap pin design is incorrect. Depending on operating conditions, the snap pin may disengage. If use continues in this condition, the clevis pin may fall out of the pedal arm, causing the instructor's auxiliary brake to become inoperative.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the snap pin with the corrected/revised part.

状況
教習車の助手席補助ブレーキにおいて、ブレーキペダルのクレビスピン抜け防止用スナップピンの構造が不適切なため、使用条件によってはスナップピンが外れる場合がある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、クレビスピンがペダルアーム部より抜け落ち、助手席補助ブレーキが効かなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、スナップピンを対策品に交換する。
