Defect
On large touring hybrid buses, the vehicle control ECU software is incorrectly programmed. After the ABS activates and then deactivates, the ECU may, in rare cases, continue to register ABS as active. While the ECU remains in this erroneous state, operating the auxiliary brake has no effect and the auxiliary brake will not engage.
Corrective action
Reprogram the vehicle control ECU on all vehicles.

状況
大型観光のハイブリッドバスにおいて、車両制御ECUのプログラムが不適切なため、ABSが作動した場合、その後、作動していないにもかかわらず稀に当該ECUが作動中との認識のままとなることがある。そのため、その状態では補助ブレーキの作動操作をしても、補助ブレーキが作動しない。
改善措置
全車両、車両制御ECUのプログラムを書き換える。
