Defect
In the electric vacuum pump that supplies negative pressure to the brake booster, insufficient inspection of the internal vanes allowed units containing cracks formed during the manufacturing process to be assembled. Continued use causes the vane to fracture, disabling the vacuum pump. This may result in extended stopping distance.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the brake electric vacuum pump assembly with a corrected part.

状況
②ブレーキ倍力装置に負圧を供給するブレーキ負圧電動ポンプにおいて、内部のベーンの検査が不適切なため、加工工程で発生した亀裂があるものを組み付けたものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、ベーンが破損し、負圧ポンプが作動せず、制動距離が長くなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ブレーキ負圧電動ポンプ一式を対策品に交換する。
