Defect
In the electric vacuum pump that supplies negative pressure to the brake booster, improper machining of the internal rotor has left the rotor tip with a sharp edge on some units. Continued use causes the rotor tip to chip, disabling the vacuum pump. This may result in extended stopping distance.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the brake electric vacuum pump assembly with a corrected part.

状況
①ブレーキ倍力装置に負圧を供給するブレーキ負圧電動ポンプにおいて、内部のロータの加工が不適切なため、先端が鋭利な形状となっているものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、ロータの先端が欠け、負圧ポンプが作動せず、制動距離が長くなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ブレーキ負圧電動ポンプ一式を対策品に交換する。
