Defect
The material and dimensions of the valve inside the ASR (Anti-Spin Regulator) valve—fitted to prevent drive wheel spin—are inadequate. Air pressure acting on the back face of the valve causes age-related deterioration and deformation under high-temperature conditions, which may block the exhaust port. This traps residual pressure in the brake circuit, keeping the brakes continuously applied and causing the brake drums to overheat. In the worst case, a vehicle fire may result.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the ASR valve with the corrected part and replace the line connectors with new parts. Additionally, the ASR valve is reclassified as a periodic replacement item with a 10-year replacement interval.

状況
駆動輪の空転を防止するために装着されているＡＳＲ（アンチスピンレギュレータ）バルブ内部の弁の材質および寸法が不適切なため、当該弁の背面にかかるエア圧による経年劣化および高温環境下での変形により、排気ポートを塞ぐものがある。そのため、ブレーキ配管内に圧力が残留し、常にブレーキが作動した状態となってブレーキドラムが過熱して、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ＡＳＲバルブを対策品と交換すると共に、配管コネクタを新品と交換する。また、当該バルブを１０年毎の定期交換部品に変更する。
