Defect
On large trucks fitted with van bodywork, the rivets used to attach the fender ceiling panel under the cargo floor were improperly selected. Galvanic corrosion may cause these rivets to corrode. Continued operation may result in the fender ceiling panel detaching together with the mounting rivets.
Corrective action
Inspect all vehicles; on any vehicle where the mounting rivets are found to be improperly selected, replace them with appropriate rivets.

状況
バン架装を行った大型トラックにおいて、荷台床下に装着されてるフェンダー天井板を取付する為のリベット選定が不適切なため、電蝕により当該リベットが腐食する場合がある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該取付リベットとともにフェンダー天井板が脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両を点検し、取付リベットの選定が不適切なものについては、適切なリベットに交換する。
