Filing in context
This notification is a joint filing by 2 manufacturers: Isuzu & Nissan.
This is the only filing in the archive that cites the Clutch Pedal / Lever as the affected component. This filing is one of 54 Isuzu notifications from 2012 in this archive. Defect
On diesel-powered vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, the master cylinder mounting section of the clutch pedal bracket has insufficient strength. If the vehicle is operated while clutch actuation resistance is elevated, the bracket may fracture. In the worst case, the clutch may become unable to disengage.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the clutch pedal bracket with a corrected part.
