Defect
During the manufacturing process, some accelerator cables were assembled with a resin tube that is shorter than the specified length. Continued use damages the inner cable. In the worst case, operating the accelerator pedal will not increase engine speed, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Replace the accelerator cable on all vehicles with a conforming part.

状況
アクセルケーブルの製造工程において、全長の短い樹脂チューブを組み付けたものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると当該ケーブルのインナケーブルが損傷し、最悪の場合、アクセルペダルを操作してもエンジン回転が上がらず、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、アクセルケーブルを良品に交換する。
