Defect
On large trucks, the clutch stroke sensor, which detects clutch engagement and disengagement, is improperly manufactured, allowing water to enter the sensor interior and cause a short circuit between the coils. This activates the safety control system, leaving the clutch disengaged and rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Replace the clutch stroke sensor on all vehicles with a conforming part.

状況
大型トラックにおいて、クラッチの断・接状態を検知するストロークセンサーの製造が不適切なため、ストロークセンサー内部に水が浸入してコイル間が短絡する場合がある。そのため、安全制御が働き、クラッチが切れたままの状態となり、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、クラッチのストロークセンサーを良品に交換する。
