Defect
On large trucks, the clutch stroke sensor, which detects clutch engagement and disengagement, is improperly manufactured, allowing water to enter the sensor interior and cause a short circuit between the coils. This activates the safety control system, leaving the clutch disengaged and rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Replace the clutch stroke sensor on all vehicles with a conforming part.

状況
