Defect
During the manufacturing process of the rectifier, the bond between the cooling fin case and the power module (composite power element) is insufficient. As a result, the rectifying elements inside the power module are not adequately cooled, causing their temperature to rise and loss of control over the charging current. This leads to insufficient battery charging and, in the worst case, may cause the engine to stall while driving with no ability to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the rectifier with a corrected part.

状況
整流器の製造工程において、冷却フィン付きケースとパワーモジュール（電力用複合素子）の接着が不十分なため、パワーモジュール内部の整流素子が冷却されずに温度が上昇し、発電電流の制御ができなくなるものがある。そのため、バッテリが充電不足となり、最悪の場合、走行中にエンジンが停止して再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、整流器を対策品と交換する。
