Defect
The engine is slow to reach operating temperature. When the vehicle is operated repeatedly for short durations in cold conditions, moisture in blow-by gases condenses inside the engine and accumulates in the engine oil, causing the camshaft drive chain to wear and stretch. Continued use produces abnormal noise and, in the worst case, may cause the chain to disengage, stalling the engine and rendering it unable to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the camshaft drive chain with the corrected/revised part.

状況
原動機の温度上昇が遅いため、寒冷時の短時間運転を繰り返した場合、ブローバイガス中の水分が原動機内で結露し、潤滑油内に蓄積することにより、カムシャフトドライブチェーンが摩耗して伸びることがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると異音が発生し、最悪の場合、当該チェーンが外れて原動機が停止し、再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、カムシャフトドライブチェーンを対策品と交換する。
