Defect
On vehicles equipped with side turn signal lamps, the hazard warning switch contacts have insufficient durability. Electrical arcing occurs each time the switch is operated, causing the contacts to wear. In the worst case, the hazard warning lights may fail to operate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the hazard warning switch and flasher unit with corrected parts.

状況
① 側面方向指示器を備えた車両の非常点滅表示灯スイッチにおいて、接点の耐久性が不足しているため、当該スイッチ操作時の通電によりアーク放電が発生し、接点が摩耗するものがあり、最悪の場合、非常点滅表示灯が作動しないおそれがある。
改善措置
① 全車両、当該操作スイッチ、および、フラッシャーユニットを対策品と交換する。
