Defect
The brake drum cover on the rear-rear axle provides insufficient sealing, allowing rainwater to enter the brake drum. During extended parking with the parking brake applied, rust may cause the brake drum and brake lining to bond together. In the worst case, releasing the parking brake leaves the brake locked, dragging the tire and causing a tire burst.
Corrective action
Replace the brake drum cover on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
後後軸のブレーキドラムカバーのシール性が不足しているため、雨水等がブレーキドラム内に浸入し、長時間、駐車ブレーキをかけた状態において、錆によりブレーキドラムとブレーキライニングが貼りつく場合がある。そのため、最悪の場合、駐車ブレーキを解除してもブレーキがロックした状態になり、タイヤを引き摺り、タイヤがバーストするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ブレーキドラムカバーを対策品と交換する。
